The preparation of corporate and product marketing materials requires both
excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the commercial
environment.
The CFO Plus approach to Communications
 | Understand what the target wants to
hear. E.g. it is a
presentation to a supplier who has sent a questionnaire we use our market
knowledge to answer these questions effectively. |
 | Define the message which you the client want to convey.
E.g. That you accompany your polished customers down the pipeline. |
 | KISS - Keep
It Simple and
Short.
People enjoy reading short and concise texts which deliver a message which
they understand. |

government on how to create a long term diamond industry and trade. On
its presentation to the responsible minister, he commented, "I asked for it
and I got it."
- Clinet 3
- A client had prepared a business plan for presentation to investors
which gave the wrong information and he was not successful at raising
his required investment. CFO Plus rewrote the business plan after
carrying out its own market research and rebuilding the financials.

required investment.
